Deepa Raizada completed her basic optometry education and fellowship in Clinical Optometry at L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad.
She underwent advanced training in ocularistry at Moorefield’s Eye Hospital, London.
Her clinical interests include fabrication and fitting of ocular prosthesis, particularly in pediatric patients. Her research interests lie in finding practical solutions to problems in the field of ocularistry. She received the Best Paper award at the 7th Indian Optometric Association, 2005
